Motrin (ibuprofen) is used for pain and fever.

• Ibuprofen should be used to control high fevers which are unresponsive to Tylenol (acetaminophen). It can also be used to control pain and reduce inflammation.

• Do not give Motrin to a child under 6 months of age without contacting your health provider first.

• Do not give Motrin if you do not know the weight of your child.

• Please read the labels on the box before giving your child any medicine.

• In case of an overdose, call your heath care provider immediately.

• May cause upset stomach.
